The East Ridge Warriors routed the visiting Betsy Layne Bobcats softball squad by a final score of 9-2 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Warriors (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Floyd Central (Eastern, KY). The Jaguars go into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Floyd Central was routed by Lawrence County (Louisa, KY), 20-2, in a league battle.
The Bobcats now possess a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Twin Valley for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 26. Betsy Layne will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 11-4 non-league loss to Jenkins (Jenkins, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
