Charleroi Cougars (Charleroi, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Burgettstown Blue Devils (Burgettstown, PA), 13-3 in a league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Yough for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 27. Charleroi will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Connellsville (Connellsville, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Burgettstown falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Madonna (Weirton, WV) to battle the Blue Dons in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 1. The Blue Dons enter the challenge with a record of 5-2.
