Calhoun Red Devils (Mt. Zion, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Wirt County Tigers (Elizabeth, WV), 14-3 in a league challenge.

The Red Devils now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ritchie County for a Little Kanawha challenge on Wednesday, March 27.

With the loss, Wirt County falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Williamstown (Williamstown, WV) to battle the Yellowjackets in a Little Kanawha challenge on Tuesday, March 26. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. Williamstown lost 17-0 in their recent league challenge against St. Marys (St. Marys, WV)
