Covina Colts (Covina, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host West Covina Bulldogs (West Covina, CA), 6-5 in a league challenge.

The Colts now own a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host Northview for a Valle Vista challenge on Wednesday, March 27. Covina will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Charter Oak (Covina, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, West Covina falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to San Dimas (San Dimas, CA) to battle the Saints in a Valle Vista challenge on Wednesday, March 27. The Saints enter the challenge with a record of 10-7. San Dimas won 9-5 in their recent league challenge against Diamond Ranch (Pomona, CA)
