Patriot Warriors (Jurupa Valley, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Hillcrest Trojans (Riverside, CA), 5-4 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 16-4 record. They take the field next when they host Jurupa Valley for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 27. Patriot will battle a Jaguars squad coming off a 5-3 league loss to Rubidoux (Jurupa Valley, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Hillcrest falls to 7-12 on the campaign. The Trojans host Norte Vista (Riverside, CA) to battle the Braves in a River Valley challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Braves enter the challenge with a record of 7-10. Norte Vista won 13-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Rubidoux (Jurupa Valley, CA)
