The Stringer Red Devils softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Mize Bulldogs to 3 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Stringer improves its record to 10-4 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Taylorsville (Taylorsville, MS) to clash with the Tartars in a 1A Region 7 game on Tuesday, March 26. The Tartars come into the game with a record of 1-17. Taylorsville lost 12-2 in their recent league game against Enterprise (Brookhaven, MS)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Heidelberg Oilers (Heidelberg, MS) in a 2A Region 8 game, on Tuesday, March 26. Mize will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Oilers come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 15-3 non-league loss to Bay Springs (Bay Springs, MS).
