In Monday's non-league contest, the Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) softball team overwhelmed the visiting North Johnston Panthers (Kenly, NC), by a margin of 13-1.

With the triumph, Triton moves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Hawks travel to Westover (Fayetteville, NC) to play the Wolverines in a All American 3A/4A contest on Tuesday, March 26. The Wolverines come into the contest with a record of 0-6. Westover lost 15-0 in their recent league contest against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC)

In their next game, the Panthers play the Spring Creek Gators (Seven Springs, NC) in a Neuse Six 2A contest, on Tuesday, March 26. North Johnston will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Gators come into the contest with a 4-2 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC).
