Portland Christian Eagles (Louisville, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Shawnee Golden Eagles (Louisville, KY), 25-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holy Cross for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 26. Portland Christian will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 20-0 non-league win over Presentation (Louisville, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Shawnee falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Doss (Louisville, KY) to battle the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 27. The Dragons enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
