Victoria East Titans (Victoria, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Ray Texans (Corpus Christi, TX), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Titans now own a 8-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gregory-Portland for a 5A Region IV District 29 challenge on Thursday, March 28. Victoria East will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Ray (Corpus Christi, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-12.

With the loss, Ray falls to 10-16 on the season. The Texans travel to Victoria West (Victoria, TX) to meet the Warriors in a 5A Region IV District 29 match on Thursday, March 28. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 11-16. Victoria West won 13-2 in their recent league match against Miller (Corpus Christi, TX)
