Scholars Guild Academy Spartans (Loganville, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Trinity Prep Lions (Loganville, GA), 12-0 in a league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Peachtree Academy for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 27.

With the loss, Trinity Prep falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Covington Academy (Covington, GA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 28. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 2-6. Covington Academy won 14-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Lanier Christian Academy (Flowery Branch, GA)
