Louisiana High School Baseball - Berchmans Academy loses to Catholic of Pointe Coupee

In Tuesday's league bout, the Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets (New Roads, LA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Berchmans Academy Saints (Grand Coteau, LA), by a tally of 12-4.
Next up, the Hornets encounter the St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays (Eunice, LA) in a 1A District 5 bout, on Thursday, March 27. Catholic of Pointe Coupee will attempt to upgrade on its 10-12 season record. The Fighting Blue Jays enter the bout with a 10-13 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to Westminster Christian Academy (Opelousas, LA).
The Saints (5-11) will now prepare for their bout against Sacred Heart (Ville Platte, LA). The Trojans enter the 1A District 5 bout with a 12-10 record. In their last bout, Sacred Heart was overwhelmed by Opelousas Catholic (Opelousas, LA), 13-0, in a league bout.
