Virginia High School Baseball - Paul VI holds off Bishop McNamara

The Paul VI Panthers baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Bishop McNamara Mustangs to 4 in the Panthers league win on Tuesday.

The Panthers now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Mary's Ryken for a Washington Catholic test on Wednesday, March 26. Paul VI will clash with a Knights team coming off a 8-4 non-league win over Episcopal (Alexandria, VA). The Knights record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Bishop McNamara drops to 2-6 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Gonzaga (Washington, DC) to clash with the Eagles in a Washington Catholic test on Thursday, March 27. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 4-4. Gonzaga lost 17-0 in their recent non-league test against Cox (Virginia Beach, VA)
