The Northwest Christian Crusaders baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Bourgade Catholic Golden Eagles to 2 in the Crusaders league win on Tuesday.

The Crusaders now hold a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Payson for a 3A Metro test on Thursday, March 27. Northwest Christian will play a Longhorns team coming off a 5-4 league loss to Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ). The Longhorns record now stands at 8-3.

With the defeat, Bourgade Catholic drops to 2-8 on the year. The Golden eagles travel to ALA - Ironwood (Ironwood, AZ) to play the Warriors in a 3A Metro test on Friday, March 28. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 2-9. ALA - Ironwood lost 20-1 in their recent non-league test against Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ)
