Columbia Central Lions (Columbia, TN) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad nip the host Spring Hill Raiders (Columbia, TN), 1-0 in a league match.

With the triumph, Columbia Central advances its record to 8-4 on the season. The Lions host Independence (Thompson's Station, TN) to battle the Eagles in a non-league match on Friday, March 28. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 9-4.

The Raiders now have a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln County for a 4A District 9 match on Monday, March 31.
