The West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC), 18-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Colts now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Uwharrie Charter Academy for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 26. West Stanly will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Trinity (Trinity, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 5-5.
The Yellow Jackets (4-6) will now prepare for their bout against Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC). The Stallions enter the non-league bout with a 2-8 record. In their last bout, Queen's Grant overcame Union Preparatory (Indian Trail, NC), 13-1, in a non-league bout.
