The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Idalou Wildcats (Idalou, TX) and the visiting Friona Chieftans (Friona, TX), saw Idalou's baseball team gain a win over Friona by a tally of 23-4.

The Wildcats (13-5) will now prepare for their battle against Muleshoe (Muleshoe, TX). The Mules enter the 3A Region I District 2 challenge with a 8-8 record. In their last challenge, Muleshoe was overwhelmed by Shallowater (Shallowater, TX), 10-6, in a league challenge.

With the defeat, Friona drops to 2-13 on the year. The Chieftans travel to Slaton (Slaton, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a 3A Region I District 2 challenge on Saturday, March 29. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 3-11. Slaton lost 16-5 in their recent league challenge against Littlefield (Littlefield, TX)
