The Midland Rebels (Midland, LA) baseball trounced the visiting Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy Tigers (Lafayette, LA), 16-10 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Rebels now own a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Notre Dame for a 2A District 6 challenge on Thursday, March 27.
With the defeat, Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy drops to 1-12 on the year. The Tigers travel to Gueydan (Gueydan, LA) to clash with the Bears in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 26. The Bears go into the challenge with a record of 4-12.
