North Carolina High School Baseball - Ledford nips Montgomery Central

March 25, 2025: Thomasville, NC 27360

In Tuesday's league game, the host Ledford Panthers baseball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Montgomery Central Timberwolves.

The Panthers (6-5) will now prepare for their game against North Stanly (New London, NC). The Comets enter the non-league game with a 10-0 record. In their last game, North Stanly held off Albemarle (Albemarle, NC), 13-0, in a league game.

Next, the Timberwolves face the Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 26. Montgomery Central will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Cavaliers enter the game with a 8-3 record after their 13-2 league win over Hoke County (Raeford, NC).
