In Tuesday's league bout, the Littlefield Wildcats (Littlefield, TX) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Slaton Tigers (Slaton, TX), by a score of 16-5.
Next up, the Wildcats encounter the Dimmitt Bobcats (Dimmitt, TX) in a 3A Region I District 2 bout, on Saturday, March 29. Littlefield will attempt to advance on its 13-5 season record. The Bobcats enter the bout with a 8-7 record after their 12-11 league loss to Muleshoe (Muleshoe, TX).
The Tigers (3-11) will now prepare for their bout against Friona (Friona, TX). The Chieftans enter the 3A Region I District 2 bout with a 2-13 record. In their last bout, Friona was overwhelmed by Idalou (Idalou, TX), 23-4, in a league bout.
