Texas High School Baseball - Midway edges Temple

In Tuesday's league game, the host Midway Panthers baseball team scored a close 3-1 win over the Temple Wildcats.
The Panthers (11-6) will now prepare for their game against New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX). The Unicorns go into the non-league game with a 16-2 record. In their last game, New Braunfels nudged Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
Next, the Wildcats play the Killeen Kangaroos (Killeen, TX) in a 5A Region III District 22 game, on Friday, March 28. Temple will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Kangaroos go into the game with a 2-14 record after their 13-3 league loss to Shoemaker (Killeen, TX).
