The Welsh Greyhounds baseball squad (Welsh, LA), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Notre Dame Pioneers (Crowley, LA)
With the triumph, Notre Dame moves its record to 13-10 on the season. The Pioneers host DeQuincy (DeQuincy, LA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 26. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 18-8.
The Greyhounds now possess a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cecilia for a non-league contest on Thursday, March 27. Welsh will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Vermilion Catholic (Abbeville, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-11.
