Kentucky High School Baseball - Rockcastle County edged by South Laurel

South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY) followers left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad nip the host Rockcastle County Rockets (Mt. Vernon, KY), 5-4 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, South Laurel moves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Cardinals host Harlan County (Harlan, KY) to battle the Black Bears in a non-league match on Thursday, March 27. The Black Bears come into the match with a record of 0-3. Harlan County lost 6-5 in their recent non-league match against Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY)

The Rockets now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clay County for a non-league match on Friday, March 28. Rockcastle County will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Knox Central (Barbourville, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 4-2.
