Kentucky High School Volleyball - Frederick Douglass tips West Jessamine

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Frederick Douglass Broncos (Lexington, KY) and the visiting West Jessamine Colts (Nicholasville, KY), observed Frederick Douglass's volleyball team hold off West Jessamine by a count of 3-2.

The Broncos (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Western Hills (Frankfort, KY). The Wolverines enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Western Hills got by Shelby County (Shelbyville, KY), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Colts battle the Bryan Station Defenders (Lexington, KY) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 27. West Jessamine will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Defenders enter the contest with a 0-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Tates Creek (Lexington, KY).
