Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves (Dumfries, VA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Oakcrest Chargers (McLean, VA), 17-5 in a league game.
With the victory, Saint John Paul the Great Catholic improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Wolves travel to Trinity Christian (Fairfax, VA) to play the Gryphons in a Delaney 1 game on Friday, March 28. The Gryphons come into the game with a record of 1-0.
The Chargers now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Foxcroft for a non-league game on Thursday, March 27. Oakcrest will play a Foxcroft team coming off a 19-12 non-league win over Steward (Richmond, VA). The Foxcroft record now stands at 1-0.
