With the triumph, Lanier County moves its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Monroe (Albany, GA) to meet the Golden Tornadoes in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 8. The Golden Tornadoes come into the match with a record of 1-8.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Atkinson County for a 1A D-II Region 2 match on Friday, March 28. Echols County will meet a Rebels team coming off a 5-0 league win over Brooks County (Quitman, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 7-3.
