The Lovett Lions soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans to 1 in the Lions non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Lions now hold a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Cambridge for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 27. Lovett will play a Bears squad coming off a 7-2 league win over Centennial (Roswell, GA). The Bears record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Greater Atlanta Christian moves to 11-1 on the year. The Spartans travel to Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA) to play the Indians in a 3A Region 6 bout on Friday, March 28. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Lumpkin County won 8-5 in their recent league bout against Pickens (Jasper, GA)
