Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) and the visiting Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), saw Monticello's soccer squad hold off Waynesboro by a count of 1-0.

The Mustangs (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Bulldogs enter the Jefferson battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Goochland tipped Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Little Giants battle the James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 31. Waynesboro will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA).
