North Carolina High School Baseball - New Hanover held off by Laney

The Laney Buccaneers the host New Hanover Wildcats baseball squad by a score of 5-3 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next up, the Buccaneers battle the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) in a non-league outing, on Friday, March 28. Laney will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Scorpions come into the outing with a 7-2 record after their 20-0 non-league win over South Columbus (Tabor City, NC).

The Wildcats (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Trojans come into the non-league outing with a 3-7 record. In their last outing, West Brunswick by Topsail (Hampstead, NC), 12-4, in a non-league outing.
