The Silver Fighting Colts triumphed over the host Las Cruces Bulldawgs softball squad by a count of 14-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Fighting Colts play the Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 27. Silver will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 15-2 non-league win over Cobre (Bayard, NM).
The Bulldawgs (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM). The Trojans enter the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Mayfield overcame Silver (Silver City, NM), 10-5, in a non-league challenge.
