In Tuesday's league test, the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) lacrosse team overwhelmed the visiting North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC), by a count of 18-1.

Next up, the Pirates battle the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) in a Mideastern test, on Thursday, March 27. Topsail will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Cougars enter the test with a 1-5 record after their 9-4 league loss to New Hanover (Wilmington, NC).

The Scorpions (7-4) will now prepare for their test against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Trojans enter the Mideastern test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, West Brunswick was overwhelmed by Marysville (Marysville, OH), 13-7, in a non-league test.
