The Mavericks (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Sunnyside (Sunnyside, WA). The Grizzlies enter the 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Sunnyside was edged by Eisenhower (Yakima, WA), 1-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Pirates confront the Wenatchee Panthers (Wenatchee, WA) in a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 battle, on Friday, March 28. Davis will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 3-0 record after their 4-1 league win over Eastmont (East Wenatchee, WA).
