In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) soccer team routed the host Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), by a tally of 5-0.
Next, the Mustangs face the Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) in a Jefferson contest, on Monday, April 7. Monticello will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Thomas Jefferson (Richmond, VA).
The Little Giants (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against James River (Buchanan, VA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, James River was overwhelmed by Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA), 8-1, in a non-league contest.
