North Carolina High School Softball - Apex bested by Middle Creek

The Middle Creek Mustangs triumphed over the visiting Apex Cougars softball squad by a count of 14-4 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Green Level Gators (Cary, NC) in a Southwest Wake 4A challenge, on Wednesday, March 26. Middle Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Gators enter the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 9-8 league loss to Green Hope (Cary, NC).

The Cougars (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Falcons enter the Southwest Wake 4A challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Green Hope overcame Green Level (Cary, NC), 9-8, in a league challenge.
