In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Chesapeake Cougars softball team scored a tight 8-3 win over the Arundel Wildcats.

The Cougars (2-0) will now prepare for their match against South River (Edgewater, MD). The Seahawks come into the Anne Arundel County match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, South River was routed by Northeast (Pasadena, MD), 14-4, in a league match.
