The Lake Travis Cavaliers softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Austin Maroons to 0 in the Cavaliers league win on Tuesday.

The Cavaliers now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bowie for a 6A Region IV District 26 battle on Friday, March 28. Lake Travis will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 16-2 league win over Akins (Austin, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, Austin moves to 5-7 on the season. The Maroons travel to Del Valle (Del Valle, TX) to confront the Cardinals in a 6A Region IV District 26 battle on Friday, March 28. The Cardinals come into the battle with a record of 9-4. Del Valle won 10-1 in their recent league battle against Akins (Austin, TX)
