Texas High School Softball - Estacado succumbs to Big Spring

March 25, 2025: Big Spring, TX 79720

In Tuesday's league test, the Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX), by a tally of 16-6.

Next, the Steers clash with the Snyder Tigers (Snyder, TX) in a 4A Region I District 5 test, on Friday, March 28. Big Spring will attempt to advance on its 8-7 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 12-6 record after their 16-1 league win over Liberty (Lubbock, TX).

The Matadors (4-12) will now prepare for their test against Levelland (Levelland, TX). The Lobos go into the 4A Region I District 5 test with a 21-3 record. In their last test, Levelland prevailed over Lake View (San Angelo, TX), 18-8, in a league test.
