West Virginia High School Softball - Fairmont Senior bested by Bridgeport

March 25, 2025: Bridgeport, WV 26330

The Bridgeport Indians triumphed over the visiting Fairmont Senior Polar Bears softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Indians play the Robert C. Byrd Eagles (Clarksburg, WV) in a Big Ten challenge, on Thursday, March 27. Bridgeport will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 12-2 league loss to Lewis County (Weston, WV).

The Polar Bears (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Grafton (Grafton, WV). The Bearcats enter the Big Ten challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Grafton overcame North Marion (Farmington, WV), 11-0, in a league challenge.
