The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Burnet Bulldogs (Burnet, TX) and the visiting Lampasas Badgers (Lampasas, TX), observed Burnet's softball team get by Lampasas by a tally of 3-2.

The Bulldogs (8-9) will now prepare for their bout against Jarrell (Jarrell, TX). The Cougars go into the 4A Region III District 24 bout with a 6-14 record. In their last bout, Jarrell was nipped by Salado (Salado, TX), 15-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Badgers clash with the Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) in a 4A Region III District 24 bout, on Friday, March 28. Lampasas will attempt to advance on its 9-11 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 17-4 record after their 15-0 league win over Jarrell (Jarrell, TX).
