Texas High School Softball - Callisburg bested by Ponder

The Ponder Lions triumphed over the visiting Callisburg Wildcats softball squad by a count of 14-2 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Lions face the Valley View Eagles (Valley View, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 contest, on Friday, March 28. Ponder will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 2-6 record after their 15-0 league loss to Boyd (Boyd, TX).

The Wildcats now hold a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Paradise for a 3A Region II District 10 contest on Friday, March 28. Callisburg will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Boyd (Boyd, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 13-6.
