North Carolina High School Softball - Gray's Creek bounces Cape Fear

March 25, 2025: Fayetteville, NC 28312

The Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) softball the host Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC), 9-5 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Bears now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hoke County for a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 26. Gray's Creek will encounter a Bucks team coming off a 9-3 league win over Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Bucks record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, Cape Fear moves to 8-3 on the season. The Colts host Lumberton (Lumberton, NC) to encounter the Pirates in a United Eight 3A/4A outing on Friday, March 28. The Pirates come into the outing with a record of 7-6. Lumberton won 11-7 in their recent non-league outing against Ashley (Wilmington, NC)
