The Catawba Ridge Copperheads triumphed over the visiting Nation Ford Falcons softball squad by a count of 7-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Copperheads play the Rock Hill Bearcats (Rock Hill, SC) in a AAAAA Region 3 challenge, on Friday, March 28. Catawba Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 13-0 season record. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC).

The Falcons (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Clover (Clover, SC). The Blue Eagles enter the AAAAA Region 3 challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Clover edged Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC), 9-2, in a league challenge.
