The New Diana Eagles softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Chapel Hill Red Devils to 4 in the Eagles league win on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hughes Springs for a 3A Region II District 15 battle on Friday, March 28. New Diana will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 5-1 league win over Jefferson (Jefferson, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 16-3.

With the loss, Chapel Hill moves to 3-9 on the season. The Red devils travel to Harmony (Big Sandy, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 3A Region II District 15 battle on Friday, March 28. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 7-7. Harmony won 10-2 in their recent league battle against Daingerfield (Daingerfield, TX)
