The Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders (Laurinburg, NC) softball routed the visiting Mintz Christian Academy Lions (Roseboro, NC), 15-5 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Defenders now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cape Fear Christian Academy for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 1.

With the loss, Mintz Christian Academy moves to 3-2 on the season. The Lions host Spirit of Life Christian Academy (Clinton, NC) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league outing on Monday, March 31. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 1-2. Spirit of Life Christian Academy won 23-4 in their recent non-league outing against Antioch Christian Academy (Lumberton, NC)
