In Tuesday's non-league test, the Columbia Eagles (Huntsville, AL) softball squad got by the host St. John Paul II Falcons (Huntsville, AL), by a tally of 3-2.
Next, the Eagles clash with the Buckhorn Bucks (New Market, AL) in a non-league test, on Thursday, March 27. Columbia will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Bucks go into the test with a 11-9 record after their 16-0 league win over Lee (Huntsville, AL).
The Falcons (2-8) will now prepare for their test against Randolph School (Huntsville, AL). The Raiders go into the 4A Area 15 test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Randolph School was nudged by West Limestone (Lester, AL), 17-0, in a league test.
