The James Kenan Tigers softball squad (Warsaw, NC), was routed 11-5 in Tuesday's league contest with the host East Duplin Panthers (Beulaville, NC)

With the triumph, East Duplin improves its record to 6-4 on the year. The Panthers travel to Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC) to face the Stallions in a East Central 2A contest on Friday, March 28. The Stallions enter the contest with a record of 4-7. Southwest Onslow won 21-4 in their recent non-league contest against Northside - Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC)

The Tigers now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Kinston for a East Central 2A contest on Thursday, March 27. James Kenan will face a Vikings squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 0-4.
