North Carolina High School Softball - East Lincoln sneaks past Foard

The East Lincoln Mustangs softball team scored 1 runs and held the host Foard Tigers to 0 in the Mustangs league win on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Norman for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 26. East Lincoln will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 10-8 league win over South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Foard moves to 5-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to East Lincoln (Denver, NC) to encounter the Mustangs in a Western Foothills 3A battle on Friday, March 28. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 5-4. East Lincoln lost 11-2 in their recent non-league battle against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC)
