Texas High School Softball - La Joya bounces Economedes

March 25, 2025: Edinburg, TX 78541

The La Joya Coyotes softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Economedes Jaguars to 4 in the Coyotes league win on Tuesday.

The Coyotes now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo for a 6A Region IV District 31 battle on Friday, March 28. La Joya will confront a Bears team coming off a 8-4 league win over Edinburg North (Edinburg, TX). The Bears record now stands at 16-1.

With the loss, Economedes moves to 4-10 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Weslaco (Weslaco, TX) to confront the Panthers in a 6A Region IV District 31 battle on Friday, March 28. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 11-10. Weslaco won 15-0 in their recent league battle against Edinburg (Edinburg, TX)
