The Windsor Dukes softball team scored 1 runs and held the visiting Franklin Broncos to 0 in the Dukes league win on Tuesday.
The Dukes now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southampton for a Tri-Rivers battle on Thursday, March 27.
With the loss, Franklin moves to 0-3 on the season. The Broncos host Northampton (Eastville, VA) to confront the Yellowjackets in a non-league battle on Friday, March 28. The Yellowjackets come into the battle with a record of 0-1. Northampton lost 22-8 in their recent non-league battle against Bruton (Williamsburg, VA)
