North Carolina High School Softball - Franklinton succumbs to Southern Nash

March 25, 2025: Bailey, NC 27807

In Tuesday's league test, the Southern Nash Firebirds (Bailey, NC) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Franklinton Red Rams (Franklinton, NC), by a tally of 11-0.

Next, the Firebirds meet the Bunn Wildcats (Bunn, NC) in a The Big East 2A/3A test, on Wednesday, March 26. Southern Nash will attempt to advance on its 10-0 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 7-2 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Princeton (Princeton, NC).

The Red Rams (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC). The Yellowjackets go into the The Big East 2A/3A test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Roanoke Rapids prevailed over Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC), 10-0, in a league test.
