The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Gaffney Indians (Gaffney, SC) and the host Riverside Warriors (Greer, SC), observed Gaffney's softball team get by Riverside by a tally of 7-3.

The Indians (7-6) will now prepare for their bout against Greenville (Greenville, SC). The Red Raiders go into the non-league bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Greenville was routed by Easley (Easley, SC), 7-6, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Boiling Springs Bulldogs (Spartanburg, SC) in a AAAAA Region 2 bout, on Friday, March 28. Riverside will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 15-13 league win over Wade Hampton (Greenville, SC).
